  • How often do I need an EICR?

    An EICR will be valid for a total of 5 years. At the end of the 5 year period, you will need to renew your electrical safety check report. 

  • What do you check during an EICR?

    A qualified electrician will confuct an EICR to examine electrical wiring installation and systems. This will be an examination of electrics that are visible and those that can't be seen by the naked eye. 

  • How long does it take to perform an EICR?

    The duration of the EICR is dependent on the size of the property, however it shouldn't take any longer than 1-4 hours to complete. 

  • How can I prepare for an EICR?

    If you have booked for an EICR, you can help us out by getting your property prepared ahead of time. This involves turning off devices and disconnecting sensitive devices and ensuring that space is cleared for us to look at your electrics.
